On the 30th March 2019, an ACDP group of delegates attended the IEC Party Agent Training-Train the Trainer, in Durban.
The IEC Acting Provincial Executive Officer, Mrs Masinga, conducted the training, which was most informative regarding the IEC guidelines for Election Day, the 8th May 2019. The IEC expects all political parties to follow these set of guidelines.
This was followed by the ACDP’s Policy Co-ordinator, Mrs Joanne Downs, who discussed and elaborated on the party’s policy framework, regarding the 7 giants as mentioned in its manifesto.
Mr Rienus Niemand, the ACDP’s Elections Manager, encouraged all delegates on how to use the party’s campaign material, eg. flyers, posters and handouts, to maximum effect, in creating ACDP visibility, leading up to the elections.
The day ended with Election Street campaigning thereafter.
