In the city of Johannesburg, the opposition party was struggling in the Human Settlements Sector. The MMC, at the time was not delivering services and the community was frustrated. Despite thousands of RDP and CRU’s been built very few title deeds were issued under the incumbent MMC. Change came with the appointment of the ACDP Councillor Meshack van Wyk as MMC to the Human Settlement Department. The change has been phenomenal as in his first two months of office, the ACDP Councillor handed out over 600 TITLE DEEDS. Later, our ACDP Councillor handed out another 400 TITLE DEEDS. Clearly, the solution to the many service delivery challenges facing our nation, is to be found by putting God fearing leaders into positions of authority; leaders who are genuinely concerned about the people’s welfare. The ACDP has such leaders.
