It began as a citywide green recycling project but now its just another failed, stalled, contracted municipality mess that will cost tax payers more money to fix. Many residents in Durban have supported this initiative to create a cleaner refuse by recycling. This is a global trend for all communities to not just think of their own consumables but their community and environment around them. The ACDP believes that providing cleaner communities and environments allow communities to engage with their municipalities to create a cleaner and more sustainable environment and in so doing create a better city.
