The African Christian Democratic Party applauds the final year students at UKZN for their innovation in the mechanical engineering department. When the economy is facing strain and pressure, such creative and innovative ideas would enhance the engineering sector and reduce high level of costs. With projects ranging from Security Robots, Navigation Systems, Electric Transporter with Solar energy etc contribute towards South Africa’s global competitive edge and draw more foreign investment. The ACDP believe, hard working students like these should be given more opportunity and highlighted in the country as they are the future being empowered now. South Africa has a great future with such a caliber of young, passionate and determined youth.
